Functional and easy to use
The Xiaomi Mi Light Detection Sensor is a multifunctional application in your home. The device detects any degree of light. The range of the sensor is very wide from 0 to up to 83000 lux. In doing so, the accuracy is large enough to measure a difference of 2 Lux.
Thanks to the latest Zigbee 3.0 connectivity capability, the Xiaomi Mi Light Detection Sensor is easy to connect to and control in your Smart Home using a Zigbee Gateway. In the convenient app, you can easily adjust various settings to meet your needs. In the application you can also see the history of the measured light values.
The Mi Light Detection Sensor can also be connected in your Mi Home app with a Aqara Hub! This also allows your sensor to connect easily with Apple Homekit. The Mi Light Detection Sensor can be used for all kinds of automations! For example, with an Aqara Hub, you can set an Aqara Led Bulb to turn on when the Mi Light Detection Sensor measures a lux value below a certain point.
Anywhere easy to attach
The front of the sensor features fully translucent durable plastic that protects the ambient light sensor. As a result, the device can stand up to a lot of wear and tear. The rotating back of the sensor holds the CR2450 battery in place. There are also two small magnets on the back which make it easy to place the sensor on magnetic surfaces such as the refrigerator or metal cabinet. Thanks to the included battery, the sensor can be used in a variety of ways.
In addition, thanks to the included double-sided tape, it is also possible to place the device on other surfaces. For example, place the Xiaomi Mi Light Detection Sensor on the wall, a door, a cabinet or table. Thanks to the IPX3 classification, the sensor is splashproof and thus protected against small amounts of water.
